I’m going with the same LED headlights that I used on the last build as they were literally plug and play and look great. This time I can’t get them to activate once plugged in. Here are the ones I’m using:

A couple of things.

1. The lights have a 3 prong plug and the polarity matches up with the bucket plug as does my electrical hookup. So we are good there.
2. I hooked up the stock halogen lights and they work as expected, so I know I’m getting juice to the plugs.
3. All other lights work perfectly including the LED tail lights, hazards, LED parking lamps and turn signals.
4. I’ve tested both LED headlights with a 12V battery and both light up that way.

What am I missing here?

I know LED's are very sensitive to grounds so perhaps double check those.

Turns out I have two defective lights. I think I’ll buy a lottery ticket.

I almost said this earlier today, "maybe both lights are defective", then thought the odds of that were pretty slim.

Curious what is defective with them if they light up with 12v directly connected? Curious because I would like to get these as well.

I wanted LED headlights, but I like the traditional look, so I got the Breeze kit. They work great.

Holley Retro-Bright are what I've been using, had them in my Caterham 7, then my Sunbeam Tiger, and now ERA 2127, a 289 roadster hybrid. Attached is a comparison shot of the new 5,700K LED headlight on the left side of the picture, and the original Tri-Bar PL's on the right.

Pricey, yes, but once you take a ride at night, you'll see (no pun intended) it was money well spent.

The Breeze headlights are awesome. I now have confidence driving at night again.
