As I get closer to making my engine/transmission purchase for my Coupe, I am leaning heavily towards the Factory Five AT Coyote package. I see FFR offers a carbon fiber cover, but to me it looks a little boring and plain. I came across this as I was searching for alternatives.

What do you guys think? I'm actually looking at the red glossy option to go along with the rest of the red accents I'm planning for the car.

FFRs doesn't fit the coupe anyways.

I think they look nice. Certainly better than the previous versions. I think the standard one is only $100 so good to have options. That red one certainly pops.

My carbon fiber body is installed on the 30th anniversary 65 coupe and MIKE Everson is correct. The Factory Five carbon fiber cover does not fit under the carbon fiber hood either

Dave Vivieros at FFR was ready to sell me one of these, but I told him we'd wait until closer to the end of the build to figure that out.
Someone should let him know these don't fit if that's the case.

Yep - The standard cover from Ford is cheap, but it's faux carbon (plastic). I like the real carbon covers a lot more.

I like it a lot better. I agree the FFR one is kinda plain. I am a sucker for the Gen 1 cover. I dressed mine up a little by stripping it down and painting the chrome bits.
