Selling my racing projects and thinking F5

I have my Porsche race car projects for sale, but I'm not ready to leave the track. Looking for an affordable alternative, after realizing how expensive racing Porsches can be. So I'm thinking of racing a factory five Cobra. I live in South Florida and would like to run both NASA and SCCA. I know NASA has a specific class but I didn't see anything for SCCA. Is anyone racing SCCA? Do the runs vary much from the NASA rules?

In challenge trim they run in super prod, ite and emod. If you change a few things you can run gt-1.

New for this year we can also run scca vintage which should be a blast.

I ran VP3 in vintage class last year in SCCA a few times, will do more this year, run ITE in the NW conference, should be better this year with all the upgrades to frontend and engine

If you haven't already, look into racing with PBOCFL as well. They are headquartered in central Florida I think, lots of folks come up from south FL. PBOC has 8 or so classes. It's a mixed-marque series so you'll be able to see how you and your challenge car do against all makes; BMWs, 911s, Cups, Ferraris, Mustangs, sports racers etc. etc. Often race with the Viper Series. They race at Homestead, Moroso, Sebring, Barber, Road Atlanta, VIR etc. You share the weekend with DE. Since you probably raced PCA, you'll have no problems with PBOC tech.
