What is the sheet metal thickness of the foot box and cockpit material in the MK 4 roadster ? Using rivnuts in certain areas and want to get the crush dimension of the rivnut itself.

.040". That's the standard size for nearly all aluminum sheet from Factory Five. Firewall in the Hot Rod and Truck are thicker. That's the only exception I've encountered.
P.S. Somebody needs to buy a micrometer. :rolleyes: I use one all the time. HF ones are decent and not expensive.
