My wife and I went to watch our son's conference baseball tournament a few years ago when he was in college. There was a Waffle House that shared the parking lot with our hotel. Our son was pitching the opening game of the tournament and I couldn't sleep. So around 4am I decided to go over to the Waffle House and grab a bite to eat. Of course, I was the only customer at that time and watched several vehicles pull up in the parking lot. Each time the waitress and cook would go outside and talk with the people in the cars for five minutes or so then come back in. After the third or fourth time the waitress comes over and asks if I need anything else... I told her "no, thank you I am good". She then asks me how long I planned to be there. I told her I was done and could leave now. She said "no, no, no, you don't have to leave but if you will be here for a few more minutes would you mind keeping an eye on the place?" I was a little stunned and told her sure... she and the cook go out, get in one of the cars and drive away. About ten minutes later they come back and thank me for staying and told me the food was "on the house"... it's always an experience going to a Waffle House...

Hard to see in the sky since it was a bit wet and cloudy, but the reflection was visible in the Autozone parking lot.
