Hi All -

With all the issues around the Wilwood MC's, I decided that I want to replace the Wilwood with a Tilton. That said, I cannot find any markings on the Wilwood MC for the part number or bore size. Mike mentions a 3/4" MC in his sales information and I just want to confirm with those that know, that it is indeed a 3/4" bore.

Also, if anyone has the part number for the Tilton MC, I would appreciate it, assuming that it also would be the same size of as the Wilwood.

TIA!

Mark

You're best to call Forte, I thought they used a 13/16" MC.

A 13/16 Tilton would be TIL-76-812 if you want the 76 series which I used.

Mark,
Mike supplied a 13/16” master with the one I recently purchased from him. I’m using Tilton 76 series and the number is 76-812. If you opt to use Tilton 75 series the number is 75-812.

For my hydraulic clutch setup from Forte (circa 2018) he confirmed the 13/16 master cylinder size was needed, so I swapped out the 3/4 Wilwood with a 13/16 (0.81") Wilwood that Forte provided. You can see the bore size stamped into the die cast housing near the mounting flange on the Wilwood cylinders.

Forte Spec'd 13/16 when I bought from him earlier this year.
I ended up going with a 1.0" instead. Engages higher on the pedal, and bottoms out the pedal inside the footbox with no need for a clutch safety stop. It's a LITTLE more effort (maybe) than my 7/8MC setup in my other FF car.
