HAWK Coupe winter upgrades begin with AERO!

After 9 years I decided I needed to change the look of the car a bit... and after all the Blackhawk helicopter does have a wing in the back.....

I think it goes well with the look - seems to drive fine. Only have 1.5 degrees in the wing, but it's solid.

Nice wing! What brand, model is it? Did it come in a standard mount width, or did you specify the mount width?

It's APR GTC 350 - got it through FFR - standard for their kits

Do you have any plans to remove the original duck tail spoiler? I'm no expert in aerodynamics but it seems like the air might do something weird between those two surfaces.

The builds I've seen with your new wing don't usually have the duck tail as well.
It may not matter in most situations unless you're at high speed on a track, and if you removed the duck tail it would probably involve some body work to clean it up.

All that aside, I mostly came here to say it fits the build really well!

Your car looks great. Love the color scheme. I too was wondering what your thoughts were around keeping the spoiler on with the wing. Do I see a 3rd Infantry Division patch on there? I was 3-7 Cavalry many moons ago... Garry Owen!
