Power Brake Install

I installed a unit very similar to the Whitby power brake setup well before Whitby offered theirs. The unit has worked very well. My unit came with a disc/disc proportioning valve. I noticed in several photos I've seen of the Whitby install that some of you have done that there is no proportioning valve visible with this unit. It appears the brake lines for the front and rear are plumbed directly into the master cylinder.



Any comments about the need of a proportioning valve with this power brake setup?



Also, did you have to adjust the length of the rod/pin that operates the master cylinder or did the rod/pin come pre-adjusted from Whitby's?

I have installed two Whitby kits in Hot Rod trucks, I will surely be installing more, It's excellent and works super. But to answer your question.
No proportioning valve, and no adjustment necessary to the rod.
