Hello,
so, posting pics is hit and miss for me. Not sure if there is a better way but I'm just clicking the picture icon above and uploading a jpeg sometimes they appear and sometimes they don't. Is there a step I'm missing?
Thanks!

I find that it's most consistent when I upload no more than 3 at a time, and when you hit the 'upload' button, it acts as if nothing is happening, but give it 20 seconds or so, and they should upload.

Have you read through this:

For pictures taken with a cell phone, there is an embedded tag that identifies the orientation that can often result in images being rotated when posted. To get around this, I download images from my phone to my PC and edit each picture before loading it to the forum. Usually, that just involves a re-size and a save.
I also prefer embedding pictures in my posts rather than attaching them. Seeing the images in the post makes it easier to read than having to click on thumbnails to enlarge them in my opinion.

Resize your photos to prevent them from loading sideways. Open the photo in just about any standard app, find "resize" and reduce the the largest dimension to under 2000 pixels. I use 1900. Just double click on the photo and allow whatever software your computer uses to open them. No need to use Paint or Photoshop, or any special editing software. You just need to resize and any standard Mac or MS photo app will do that. Just save the resized version and you can upload it directly from your computer, the cloud, a thumb drive... from essentially anywhere. No need to save to Flicker or the Forum Gallery. If saved to the cloud, no need to download to any device. You can select the photo directly from here even if in the cloud, using the insert photo icon in the menu bar above.
Once it loads (it will show as a link initially), click on the blue icon in the menu above (far left). The photo will then appear as a photo instead of the filename.
If you want it bigger, double click on it. A dialogue box will open and you can choose a bigger size.

Also, if you load them one at a time, hit return twice to put a space between them. Easier to view that way, and you can type in short descriptors for each one if needed.
Hope this is helpful.
