Hi everyone,
Looking for others experience and best recommendation on brake fluid.
I have manual brakes 13" front 10" rear if I remember correctly (purchased from North Racecars circa 2014)
Wildwood pedal box and master cylinders.
I believe that I put Dot4 fluid in the system as recommended by the fellows at build school.
I drove the car and put almost 5000 miles on it before it went to body shop jail.
Body removed after body work and is at body shop awaiting paint. Chassis has been in storage for over a year.
Upon picking it up and driving it the little bit it appears that brakes aren't working as they should. Pedal went basically to bottom and only pumped up partially.
Should I just change out fluid and re bleed, or switch to different fluid?
Doesn't appear to be leaking.
Is condensation a likely culprit?
Thoughts are greatly appreciated.
Dave

You might have a bad master cylinder. Others have had a sinking pedal with no external leaks.

Use either Dot 3 or 4, only a small boiling point difference between the two (4 is higher)

Not a fluid issue
