Obviously they look like poo when you get them but what exactly did you all do to the top edge of the door where that ugly seam is located?

You need to fill with filler and smooth it with a piece of spilt 11/4 rubber tubing that you can shape it with to blend it to meet dash and rear door areas I'm sure Jeff Kleiner could give you the expertise you're looking for. There are many threads on this very thing. I'm getting very close to this stage also.
