I bought a set of Corbeau RRX seats based on measurements that seemed promising. I'm 6ft tall and placing the seats on sections of 2x4, there's not quite enough leg room. Another 1-2in would be ideal, I think. I really want to exhaust all options before I throw in the towel with these seats; I love the look of them (the center section fabric design is heavily tied into my overall interior design) and they're very comfortable!
Would taller seat mounts help? I don't weld but I have a friend who does, would moving the seat belt brackets make a significant difference?

Are you doing the test fitting with the body on? If not I suggest that you do because obviously when you raise the seats you lose headroom but along with that comes reduced visibility because your line of sight starts to be cut off through the upper part of the windshield.

Body off test fitting for now. Thanks for the warning on raising the seats too far, that certainly wasn't something I had considered.

I am using the Bram Orue seats (https://braumracing.com/products/orue?variant=40739688317064) that have a similar design and measurements and I am also a little over 6' tall. What I have found is there is little you can do to get 100 percent comfortable. I, too, feel like another 1-2 inches would be better but with using these non-kit provided seats do not always provide the best options.
I am using 1X1 square steel tubing (https://www.lowes.com/pd/Hillman-1-in-W-x-3-ft-L-Plain-Hot-Rolled-Steel-Weldable-Square-Tube/3057623?store=&cm_mmc=shp-_-c-_-prd-_-hdw-_-ggl-_-PMAX_HDW_000_Priority_Item_Omni-_-3057623-_-online-_-0-_-0&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=22862751063&gbraid=0AAAAAD2B2W9Y8gt8Tk7YI0ffDjW1EsIDH&gclid=CjwKCAjwpOfHBhAxEiwAm1SwErH8Rp8XkQKsNCZCaVOQ km8m829Hid5kjIbZgKnnoRiG1IvXdDq3zhoC9nsQAvD_BwE) from Lowes with the seat belt tab bent to allow the seat to go back farther than it would able to otherwise. I also found that if I made the front of the seat higher than the back (I used a spacer provided with the seats) it was much more comfortable. I should also note that my seats are reclinable which I believe puts me in a much better seating position (which may help you, too).
I would be very wary about mounting them any higher as I think you would sit up to high in the car. I found the 1" to be best for my body type.
If you could post some pictures from some different angles that may get the ideas flowing for you, too.

I'll echo the concerns about raising the seats that much in the Coupe. Especially at 6 feet tall. I'm 5'9". My Corbeau's are on stock sliders mounted on the floor. I have enough headroom but it's not a lot. Hasn't happened, but if I did a track event where a helmet would be required, I think it would be tight. By all means follow the advice to check with the body on.

Thanks everyone, I'll put this on the back burner for now.
