Rear Body Panel

On page 323 of my manual it states "Place the cab rear to bed aluminum panel on the frame and clamp it". It also states that the" flange should point up and be on the inside of the body"

I am truly confused as I do not have this aluminum panel and can not find it in the main inventory, the aluminum panel inventory or the bed components as shown on page 395 (390 online manual).

Any guidance will be appreciated.

The "cab rear to bed" panel does not exist on the extended cab version. I used a piece of 1.5 inch aluminum angle to help seal off the back of the cab. You can see it here

it was about 1/16 inch thick. not sure if it actually helped, but I used silicone and rivets to attach the angle to the chassis, and then used silicone and rivets to attach the cab to the angle after paint.

Thanks for the help! I was unaware that it did not go with the extended version. The manual is so poorly done and outdated that FF should be embarrassed enough to address this issue.

I like your idea and may go with something similar.
