I noticed was that the trimming at the factory for the trunk didn't really look straight in a few places. Do people normally spend some time trying to get the are between the opening and where the open curves up to be a consistent width? I figured I just sand it with the angle die grinder maybe a sanding block with 80 grit?

Next question on the hood opening. I notice there is this area that has what looks like a cutout/back in the vertical part of the opening. Is this normal? Is it just for the foot box? Does anyone bother trimming back any of the hood opening? Or just sand it a little to get a radius?
