Hey folks
I'm getting ready to do the preliminary installation of my dashboard. As you can see I have a few conflicts.

The steering shaft is not centered in the cut out. Is this a big deal? I'm going to be installing the Microflex Labs steering column tube.
Do I align the center of the dash to the 3/4" tube or on the ends?
Do I trim the dash aluminum to match the curve of the 3/4" tube?

Thanks in advance for any and all advice.

Common issue. Outer edges match up but you have to add extension tab in the middle. I think the recommendation is to have the body on to get screw spacing correct if you ever want to remove your dash.

Both sides about 3/16"-1/4" down from the end of the curved hoop as shown. Don't worry about the top at the center; it'll be hidden by the body.

You should have some side-side adjustment on the steering shaft pillar bearing to center the steering shaft with the dash. The dash hole will need to be enlarged to fit the Microflex 2" diameter column tube. Be sure to make the dash hole large enough to allow for the padded dash meterial.

I think I got it to work out. Here is the picture I posted in my build thread.
