Anyone have an extra set of these Blueprint engine lifting brackets they don't need. I'm looking for a pair.

I will be using them to install my 347" in the near future. When do you need them?

In the past, I've just fabbed up some rectangular lift brackets out of steel stock. Probably a 30 minute project. No need for these specific BP brackets.

Thanks Ralph. I'm hoping it will be in the next week or so. But, if it's like the rest of this project, I'm overly optimistic about my progress!

Seems like we are on a similar timeline. Someone must have a set that they pulled off and have stashed somewhere.

Yeah, I may have to end up doing that but that means a trip to the metals place, plus fab time. I thought I'd try this route first. I'm sure someone has a set laying around. This particular shape will position the lift points in a really nice spot to avoid contacting anything with the leveler chains. Come to think of it, my brother has a really nice plasma cutter, hmmm.

I just used chains secured with grade 8 bolts and washers. Stuff a rag in between to avoid scratches. Many load levelers don't come with chains long enough but easy to grab at a local hardware store.

For my BluePrint engine I purchased a lift plate that bolts to the carb pad of the intake manifold. Worked fine.

This is what I did as well. Easy and secure…

They were close to the “use by date” so I used them before they spoiled.

Mike, that's the same leveler I have. I was surprised at how short those chains were. I had to buy some extra length to clear my ProFlo manifold. Worked great, though!

Yeah Greg, it's a great one. I took the handle off and use my cordless drill with a socket to adjust the angle.

I think I'll move one of the Blueprint plates to the front and then use the leveler plates on the rear, like Mike showed. Thank you to all for the feedback.

I ended up moving the rear one to the front so I have the same connection points there, and used the bent ear type for both rears, which clear the valve covers. So, I'm all set , but do appreciate the offer.
