Hello all
Has anybody applied lizard skin to the cockpit side of the firewall? I see photos of those who have done this and there are no drill holes in the firewall so I am presuming that the lizard skin can be drilled through ?
Does anybody have a confirmatory or opposite experience to the above?
Thank you.

I've used Lizard Skin multiple times and like it a lot. It's a latex based product and easily drilled through. No issues there. I sometimes use stick-on products for the firewall and other hard to reach places. It's a matter of how much time you want to spend masking and then reaching into places when spraying.

Meaning, you stick things on to the lizard skin covered firewall with adhesive?

Looks like I didn't explain myself very well. No, I don't do both. Either Lizard Skin or stick-on products. I was only pointing out that for hard to reach areas, like down inside the footboxes especially on the drivers side, I sometimes use stick-on products instead of Lizard Skin. No issue with spraying the firewall and calling it done if that's what you want.
