Hey, all. Getting closer and closer to primer at this point. I keep finding myself going back over every panel and the body, now with eyes closed and my hand to guide me for minor blemishes to fix. I finished installing the sound deadening pads in the fender areas and applying bedliner on the underside of the body.

Since the body was on its back, I used this to my advantage to do a better job sanding the lower areas of the body since they are up top now. Do most folks round all the edges of the lower parts of the body, too, similar to how the door/hood/trunk lid edges are rounded? I am talking about the edges that hug the chassis, front to back on the very bottom of the body. Same question for the inside and outside of the hood scoop opening. For the hood scoop opening, many pictures I have saved of others' work seems to show a round on the inside of the hood scoop opening (engine bay side), but it appears sharper than elsewhere. It could just be perspective as most photos aren't zoomed in on the edges. The outside edge of the scoop opening isn't typically seen in photos as the scoop is in place. I know it is preference, but I am just wanting to get an idea of common practice.

As always, thanks in advance.

Yes, just knock the edges off. Did that on mine on advice from other posts. Makes it look nicer and a nice feel.

You don't really have to put a lot of effort into it. Make a couple of passes along the edge with 150 to knock the sharp point off and then the buildup of 3 coats of high build, 3 more of urethane primer, 3 base coats and 3 clear coats will naturally create a radius.

Ok, thanks guys for the input. I'm whittling away at it.
