I see that the inner mounting point for the pax side lap belt is right up against the trans tunnel aluminum ? Whats the best way to deal with thie ? Thanks

I just did mine today. I went with the instructions and drilled a 1/2" hole through the trans tunnel and then pushed the bolt right through into the tunnel with a washer between the aluminum and the mounting tab and then tightened it all up. The aluminum didn't deform and I am assuming that with the carpet installed later it will be even tighter. I will coat the inside with a bit of silicon to be sure it is all sealed.
