Folks, I am finishing a Gen 1 '33 Coupe that was started by a neighbor. Some miscreant(s) stole some critical hardware that I require to finish the baby. I have reached out to FFR several times but their response has, up to now, been lackluster. I'm now reaching out to the community. I need the following items: A - (4) 33105, door hinge arm (if someone has one but doesn't want to part with it, a tracing around the arm would allow me to get them made); B - All the hood hardware. C - Trunk latch hardware (or a mod to use alternate hardware). Any info is appreciated. Any alternate part sources are also appreciated.

My first suggestion is to reach out to the professional builders listed under the "Vendors" tab above. They may have leftover parts available.

My second idea is to contact some of the retired builders / parts suppliers who are no longer actively in business. They may have parts sitting around their shops that are just collecting dust. Try Tim Whittaker (208) 267-2836 or Dan Ruth (602) 332-5398. Note that it has been 5-6 years since I spoken to either of these guys, so I can't swear that the numbers are still good.

What are you specifically looking for as far as hood hardware? I was able to buy a Gen 2 hood hinge assembly from the FFR parts department and installed it in my Gen 1 kit without any issues. The latches appear to be standard items that you could probably buy from McMaster-Carr, Aircraft Spruce or similar sources. I can look, but I don't remember any brand or P/N markings.

I recently got my parts back from powder coating and could send you a tracing of the door hinge arm, but I don't know how to easily do this in the forum. If you send me a PM with your email address, I could get you a PDF drawing with a few key dimensions.
