Really is too bad that these GTMs don't get their due on the resale market. Most go in the $50ks and low $60ks.

If done right, these cars are amazing, only thing is that's very expensive. My Kit, Transaxle, and Engine minus computer was right at $50K :p

Only 220mph? I'm sure my early GTM went at least 245mph ------ oh, wait a minute. Only in my dreams! I never drove it over 140mph.

My son, when he was very young, once said to me..."wow, we can go 130 mph. That's way faster than aunt Carrie's car". We were driving our 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a whopping 190 HP. I ask him why he thought that and he said because the speedometer goes to 130.

Never under estimate the power of marketing on uneducated minds.

Since my oil temp warning went off only at 135MPH, I'd like to explore options to swap to the 220MPH version of the GTM please :p
