Thought I would post a quick recap of the Streetworks self canceling turn signal application on my Mark V. The hookup is actually easy once you know the steps.
I wired my setup into the column flat connector that connects to the column turn signal supplied by FFR. I spliced the Streetworks wiring per their diagram into the RF RR LR LF, the only other wire used was the purple wire marked flasher. This wire goes to the 12v Streetworks power wire.
The Streetworks White 12v wire goes to the brake switch, connect your one hot lead from the RF harness to the other post on the brake switch.
The last key is to locate the terminal crimped three wire bundle marked turn signals in your RF harness. The front and rear signals are crimped together. You will see two sets for each side of the car, you need to cut the turn signals wire in each one of these three wire bundles. Now your brake lights are integrated and should function properly. The Steetworks system acts like the old trailer brake supplied on the Mark4.
It took me some troubleshooting with one of the Streetworks owners to get it running prefect. Hope this helps some of you.
I’m making final hard connections now and cleaning everything up for a final shakedown.
