Calling all Electricians!

I'm testing my wiring, prior to my body install on my 289 Roadster build. I'm utilizing the RF kit supplied harness. All lighting works great, with the exception of when I pull the headlight switch to the parking light or headlight positions the front turn signals stop flashing. The rear turn signals still function normal regardless of headlight switch position.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Sounds like the front lamp holders are not grounded

Even though they function normally as long as the headlight switch is in the off position?

Thanks

May be at the headlight switch. Check to make sure your outer wires aren’t on the opposite poles.

These wacky lighting problems almost always come back to a grounding issue. A quickie to check though is to make sure that the bulbs are keyed properly; 180 off and strange things can happen.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'll re-check grounds and bulb orientation and see what I find...

Get a piece of scrap wire, or use jump start cable and make some temporary grounds.
