Hi

Put my first rivets in today to mount the fuel filter.

I got a line from fuel tank to filter using the FF preformed plastic push on ends (its a bit janky so may make a better one later). Now Im a bit deer in headlights. Filter out goes to the front of the car for regulator when I put the motor in. The braided lines that FF sent seem long enough to go the length of the car, so do I use these instead of the solid lines?

I have 3 braided lines from FF. A short one and two long ones. One of the longer ones has an albow on it. I have looked at the instructions on ffparts but wanted to get it right.

Does anyone have any helpful pictures or direction on what goes where?

Thank you family of geniuses (as always).

Chris

No solid lines. Run the soft lines up high in the trans tunnel. Short one goes from the regulator to the engine. whichever of the other 2 is longest, that would be the return because it needs to go all the way back to the tank.

What are thoughts on having the regulator near the tank/filter with a short return line to the tank and a single feed line to the Coyote?
Space in the engine bay is pretty tight after mounting reservoirs and CPU. Also limits a long return line.

I have done this on Cobras and Daytonas. Not on the hotrod. No reason not to though.

Check out my build thread post #103 https://thefactoryfiveforum.com/showthread.php?49280-M22-Cobra-Build-Clutch-Woes-amp-Caliper-Fit/page3

I used an Aeromotive combination regulator and fuel filter to do exactly that. Its a new component they just came out with last January. Lets me run one line up front. If I was to spring a leak at the regulator at least its back behind the rear tire.
