My Cobra is undergoing a transformation. It's getting a top!

Mockup by Mark Doughterty who is doing all the work.

My son did a render using Google's new AI.

Then he did another of the car in Hawaii which is where we are moving to after Kwajalein

And another at Laguna Seca... because why not

Other mods that are going in are functional doors, rear end to 3.73 gears, new transmission (not selected yet). Air Conditioning and removal of the heater. Also, a lot of salty weather proofing to prep the car for Hawaii coastal driving. This little challenge car has had quite a life!

Kwajalein !! Wow, what the heck you doing there? I was on a MSC (Military Sealift Command) contract 5 years ago. We stopped at Kwajalien, Tarawa, Munda and Guadlecanal. We were on a Pacific Partnership mission delivering school books useing a pair of SA 330J Puma Heavy Lift Helicopters off our AKE supply/ammo ship. What a small world! Most folks never even heard of the place. Good on ya!

In the pics below the guy in yellow (LSE) is me on the George HW Bush. The Island is Tarawa. Thats also me in the back of the helicopter over Kawjalein. The job I did overseas allowed me to purchace my MK4 kit.

I spent 2 years in Hawaii. On the Big Island. Your gonna need that top and airconditioning. The humidity and salt air eat cars.

I work for MIT and help support the stuff out here. I'll be here about 4 years. Then my plan is to retire peacefully to Hawaii. :-)

Render of the Cobra on Kwaj!
