Im running a coyote in an MKV so got an in tank pump that came with the full kit (eventually). Im a bit anxious about running electricity into a vessel of what we in the UK call petrol. I think the A TEAM made me think thats never a good thing and always ends with a BOOM!

Does anyone have any pictures of their pump prior to sinking in to the tank itself so I can try and replicate. Or at least some wise advice.

Wheels arrived this week (I ordered the 25th anniversary wheels for my 30th anniversary car because the are so cool). Now I have to get some tractor sized tires to go on them !

Thank you all for your build help so far. Turns out you were right, this is much more complicated than IKEA, but am learning a lot.

Every in tank fuel pump has open electrical connections for the most part believe it or not. You can seal it up but fuel vapor needs air and a spark to catch. It’s counter intuitive but neither can happen in there without a collision or something else that introduces air.

100% agree. However, it was the single scariest looking item in the build for me. I had to keep telling myself that every car is like this...
