Just getting restarted on my Mark 4 build after 3 to 4 years. Looking for suggestions on Mark 4 builds to follow along with to both get ideas and examples of each of the build steps. Have started to look at some, but looking for folks recommendations on good ones to follow.

IMO there is so much variation between builds that you're probably better off just using the search feature to dig into a particular step/parts pick, etc.

Anything by EdwardB (Paul). I used his threads more than I used the manual.

Under the Roadster forum, there's a Build Threads link. Go there, and look at each one's number of views and number of posts. Usually, the higher the numbers here, the more detailed the threads are.

Find a thread that has the same or similar options to your car and use it. I've used several building my MK3.

EdwardB (Paul) and Papa Dave are the gold standards of build threads.

And anything Jeff Kleiner says.

OK, thanks all … Those are the ones I’ve been looking at so appreciate it… Just didn’t know if there was something new since the last time I was on quite a bit two or three years ago.

Blitzboy's thread of his original car is really good as is his current build.
So many great threads and work here, old school, modern, custom.
I'll put in a good word for my local friends builds too, GBranham, JMD and Kirby.
I know I'm missing some along with what has already been mentioned, I just try and check them all out, I always find something in a build thread I like and consider for my build.

I try to read most of them. I usually learn something from each. Agree that the threads already mentioned are superlative…
