Original build has the OEM Mustang Fox Body coolant (opaque) overflow. It’s junk. Time to go big or stay on the porch. I like the Summit cylindrical stainless steel overflow tank. Anyone here has one? Please post a picture to show how it’s set-up.218496

You can have my FFR expansion tank that looks like that one. Just pay shipping. Same one they offer on their website on their parts page.

I prefer one I can either see through or that has a sight tube. I used this one.

I too have the FFR chrome expansion tank available if anyone else is looking for one.

Notice out of 4 replies 2 of them are offering to give away their FFR tank.

Which is noted at being too small?

The stock FFR overflow tank is OK with a stock or mild 302 block engine. It was too small for my Dart 363 in my Coupe but work fine in my Mkll with a mildly built '93 Mustang 5.0 engine

I felt it was going to be too small for my 427, hence why mine's available (I went with a 2qt Canton). However, there are folks on this forum who have used the FFR piece on engines as large as 427 with no issues. YMMV, I suppose.

Thanks for your generosity, Greg. The FFR expansion tank was delivered by Mr. Brown this afternoon. I was in my garage working on the Roadster. The delivery man turned out to be a big Cobra fan too. Your FFR piece will be placed in service soon! Thanks again!

I have the 1.25 quart Canton for my 427 and I think it's too big. But hey, it looks good. :)
