I'm using the e bake handle and cables that came with my mark 4 kit. After installing the handle it rubs the side of the transmission tunnel. I have tried to solve this issue with no luck. I have considered cutting some of the aluminum away but then it seems the boot would no longer work. Any suggestions ?

Can you take some pictures and post them? Need to see what it looks like to help.

Mine rubbed as well. I bent the mount on the frame outward a bit to provide some clearance, but ultimately ripped it all out and installed an electric park brake. I really dislike FFRs eBrake solution. It was the only part of my build that really felt "cheesy", if that makes sense, hence why I punted it.

I remember that issue, many would take a gentle rubber hammer to the aluminum panel. I ended up changing the install a bit so I could pull the back bracket inward and the front bracket out ward. May have used the provided brackets in a manor not as demonstrated in the manual. Also reversed the Bolts for the handle. Mark out the boot on the sheet metal and trim what is needed to ensure it will be covered. See photos, may not be super clear but hopefully give some ideas.

I just trimmed the aluminum where it rubbed. Just be sure the boot still covers the opening.

Just bend the bracket a bit where it bolts to the mount
