Text from driver Mark indicated he would be here around 1:00pm, and he would update from the road.
12:15pm he was 30 minutes out.
12:45 arrived, we took about 45 minutes to unload and move everything into the garage. Another 30 minutes for him to button up the truck and he was on the road with at least 2 more Cobras in the truck, a Mark 4 and a Mark 5.
Sent him on his way with $100 tip and a dozen fresh baked Cowboy Cookies.
My spacious garage clean out quickly shrunk as the boxes piled up.
I’ll start inventory tomorrow.

Congrats! I can't tell if you have a one or 1 1/2 car garage - I'm trying to visualizing how my 289 car will fit in my one car garage when it comes in November ;)

Congrats! I can't tell if you have a one or 1 1/2 car garage - I'm trying to visualizing how my 289 car will fit in my one car garage when it comes in November ;)

2 car garage, 20’x20’
The back wall is 2’ of toolboxes/workbench
The right side has a 32” deep storage rack with 16 black & yellow totes, on wheels so I can move if needed
The left side has 32” tabletops, one with engine parts on it and the other with FFR boxes.
In between the tables is my 289 on an engine stand, and a hvac mini-split yet to be installed

Ah, the storage rack is what threw me off. Nice garage. And +1 on the mini-split - I’ll be installing one as well before delivery day. Looking forward to your build!

I have a 1 1/2 car garage and built both my Coupe and the 289 in it. Too low for a two post lift, but the Quickjacks work very well.

I built my Mk4 in my single car garage it's 11 feet wide and no problems. I also used the Quick Jacks.
