My kit was completed for shipping Saturday, August 9th
Todd at Stewart’s initially said they might pick up Monday the 11th or Tuesday the 12th.
Didn’t hear an update from the driver so I called Stewart’s and Todd said my car didn’t make it on the truck that week. Next pickup would be either Monday August 25th or Tuesday the 26th.
When I didn’t hear from the driver this week I called FF on Wednesday the 27th and was told there is a Stewart’s truck there right now and my car would be getting loaded.
No word on Wednesday or Thursday. Called Todd and left a message Thursday Aug 28.
Not sure if I can expect my kit Friday, Saturday, or ?? With the Labor Day holiday weekend.
Two weeks behind and I still don’t have confirmation of delivery ☹️
And yes, I can be patient. The car will get here eventually. It’s just frustrating when a supplier doesn’t follow through.

It will be worth the wait. Patients will help in the build as well. lol.

Patience is part of the process. Along the way you will be waiting for vendors, friends, painter, engine builder and of course your state's DMV. I would build one again in a heartbeat. Enjoy the ride, before and after.

Not really FFR's fault. They're at the mercy of Stewart's schedule. I was expecting my delivery on a Mon (President's day holiday), but because of a snow storm in Buffalo, it got delayed a day. The driver called me Sunday night and I had to scramble and cancel a half day of work on Tuesday to accept the shipment. They should call you once it's a bit closer to arrange for drop off.

Not really FFR's fault...
As Chewy said, and just to be clear; FFR did their part and had it ready when they said they would. It's up to Stewart at this point and not FFR. I've had kits sit on the rack for as long as a month waiting for Stewart to pick up. Stewart ha have always let me know once loaded with a day to expect their arrival.

Totally agree, not FFR’s fault. Just frustrated at Stewart’s.

This morning Todd returned my voicemail from yesterday.
“Driver left at 5:00am. I had two guys up there so one guy loaded Monday but it took him two days and I pushed the other guy to Wednesday and he took two days because everything wasn’t ready. So he’s leaving there today and it’s probably two days to you so I would say he’ll drive Friday and Saturday and most likely be to you, yeah, you know maybe a half day on either side of Sunday just in case. He’ll call you when he gets closer.”
I’ve waited 30 years…what’s one more weekend? LOL
Stewart had great communication with me over the delivery process last year. Waiting is tough, but in my experience with FFR and Stewart they will get you taken care of as soon as they are able to. Here's to a great delivery weekend for you!

Took 8 months for mine to arrive. Only got tracking once it left customs in Australia. Had a number of small projects on the go to pass the time.

I'm on the west coast. FFR pushed out my kit 3 days ahead of schedule to accomadate Stewart's pick up date. The kit arrived in Oregon 10 days ahead of schedule!! It was like winning the lottery! Working 6 hrs a day, 6 days a week for 12 months had me at the DMV getting a title for a completed Cobra.
Patience my little carburator, when you can snatch the spark plug from my hand it will be time for you to leave the shop!!:D

Haha man go back and read builds from the COVID days and see how long people waited.
When I received mine there was a delay because one of their trucks broke down and another was in an accident. Then a snow/ice storm came through, driver got hung up in traffic from accidents and hit his driving limit and had to stop 20 min from my house.
Lot of things out of our control, but Stewart will take care of you.
It'll be the same way with ordering parts and such like others have said.

Mine was at the tail end of COVID. Ordered in September, shipped the next April. The POL list was three pages long.
