The Autometer Speedometer is electric. It lights up. But won't calibrate.

I assume not the GPS version but requires input from the transmission speed sensor. I'm also assuming the speedo itself is getting power. Just because it lights doesn't mean it's powered. Separate circuits. You should have two wires from the speed sensor. One goes to the speedometer input. The other to ground. Multiple instances on here that their Autometer speedo didn't work until the sensor wire was grounded.

What's the part number of the speedo?

You have to have a transducer in the trans, It connects to the green and gray wires in the harness. One wire goes to ground, one wire goes to the speedo signal input. Doesn't matter which one for either, Without a ground and pulse wire coming from the trans it won't calibrate. ..ever.
IF you have these connected. you must follow the instructions exactly as written, they can be hard to interpret.

Oh man!! I read the previous threads and totally clocked I needed to ground the wrong side (coming from the meter), went out and grounded the sensor, works like a charm. Thanks so much. Now someone give me the simple solution to making the wipers work;)
