John ("JMD"), Don ("kirby") and I ("gbranham") met up for breakfast this AM in mine and Don's small town of Tonganoxie, KS, just a few miles north of Lawrence, KS, the home of the Jayhawks. John drove over from KCMO to meet us, along with Don's wife and one of his kiddos. Beautiful weather, and I even reconnected with a guy who knew me from my MkIII 20 years ago! Turns out, he is the father of my neighbor when I built my first one, when I lived an hour from here in Olathe, KS, and he used to come over and hang out in the garage when I was building. He now also lives in Tonganoxie, and has a SPF Cobra, a 2016 GT350, and he's currently building an RCR GT40. Lots of fun cars in a small town of 6000 peeps. Our breakfast buddy, also Greg ("TrackDay17) couldn't join us, because he was in Flint, Michigan this weekend...bet most of you can guess why! :)

Anyway, it was a great day with great friends. Here are some pics. I took pics of all of our wheels, since many folks who are building are curious about wheels size. John is 15" Halibrands, a BPE 302 with Sniper2 and IRS. Don is 17" Halibrands, Gen2 Coyote and IRS, and I'm 18" Boss 427 with ProFlo4 and IRS. All with TKX.
Fun day! Can't wait for the next one.
