Good day everyone, completed build 10314 up here in British Columbia Canada

Has anyone experienced this or can give me some advice as to what I should be looking for.

Driving today at 50mph, taking an off ramp and pinned it with good results, then I lost all fuel pressure and the engine stalled. Left me on the side of the road for about a 1/2 hour. I have a fuel pressure gauge hooked up to the regulator. Zero pressure when checked. 1/2 hour later after checking all the wiring etc. I decided to crack the fuel filler cap, the smaller black sealed one. I instantly got all my fuel pressure back and drove home. I checked all wiring and everything is A ok. The fuel tank is vented so to eliminate air lock.

255LPH fuel pump to fuel filter to Holley Sniper 2. Out of Holley Sniper 2 to the regulator, return hose directly back to fuel tank.

Advice please.

To lose all fuel pressure is probably loss of electrical supply to the pump. Check that the push on connector for the fuel pump is seated properly. There has been a number of these jump off or fail due to bad electrical connection.

Recommend unplugging and checking the socket and pins for Burns or evidence of bad connection.

+1 on Nigel's recommendations. Those Mustang plugs are garbage.

Agreed on the electrical connections in the RF harness for fuel pump and fuel level sender. The tabs that locks it in...heat it with a heat gun, bend it inward, let it cool, then click it into place

one of the builds here on the forum had a intermittent fuel pressure problem he found as a bad electrical fuel pump connection. I thought it looked like a weather pack connector to me.

That was mine. I used a Weatherpak connector to connect the Mustang fuel pump connector to the Harness, but I've snapped the locking tabs off of multiple Mustang connectors, both for the fuel pump (red) and the sending unit (white) connectors. I hate those things!!!

Do pursue making sure the electrical connections are good. To follow up on one of your details - If you had less than 1/4 tank of gas when you pinned it, it's also possible that fuel was shifted in your tank away from the pickup. However, that wouldn't explain why it didn't recover soon after stopping. Just something to be mindful of if it does occur again.

Popping the filler cap and bang you have pressure sure seems mechanical vs electrical. I am thinking you need to check the fuel tank venting. Is it really vented?
