What is the trick to getting enough adjustment in the mirror to actually use? I have put a 1/4 inch rubber washer under the mount, but that look stupid and still is not quite enough.

I haven't put my mirrors on yet, just now test fitting. I noticed that my mirrors are marked incorrectly on the castings. The mirror marked RH actually is curved to turn down when placed on the RH side of the truck. If I mount them on the opposite sides, they both curve up slightly to help with the alignment for visibility.

Funny, I never even looked. just noted they were opposites and needed to point up to work properly. The issue I am having is that once installed the passenger side mirror will not pivot on the ball attached to the mount enough to see the side of the truck. It points off to the right of the vehicle. I put a small rubber washer and that helped but looks out of place. Just wondering what others have done.

I put one of those stick-on convex mirrors on mine.
