Question re cooling system temprature sending unit.

I thought I was finished with the cooling system on my Coyote however I read on a post from Mad Dog that a temperature sending unit is to be installed with a tee fitting on one of the cooling hoses at the back of the engine.

Q: Is the temperature sending unit included in the MK4 kit (I did not see this listed on the pack sheet) or do I need to purchase this for the Coyote - part number?

Thx

The temperature sending unit for the guage is packaged with the guages, the cooling fan is run by the control pack.

Not sure if it's too late but Autometer makes and adapter for in line temp senders. This is what I used when connecting the two heater hoses in the rear. You can get it at Summit Racing.

Nice - Thx - I will look into this

Additional Q - did you install a heater? If so how did you hook up the heater hose switch as the Coyote requires complete circulation for proper cooling?

Thoughts?

Thx
