Body install rubber seal placement

Does anyone have a picture of the molding and gasket that goes on the chassis before you put the body on?

When I went to the school I made a note to "Chuck the peel and stick foam and use 3/4" by 1/2" tall "D" rubber grommet." Problem is that was a year ago and I didn't write down where that goes.

Help!

Hi Jim,

Perhaps along the top of the 3/4" engine bay frame tubes? Others have added solid rubber spacers or shims near the area along the tubes close to the leading edge of the hood in order to get the body to fit better and be supported...

I use the "D" rubber gaskets on the doors and trunk lid. bulb seal on the frame under the body as shown in the manual
