Any Factory Fives in Alaska?

I've taken vacation in Alaska a few times in the past half decade it looks like a good place to retire (speaking only for myself.)

I just stayed in Wasilla, about 40 minutes from Anchorage and there's an NHRA Drag Strip nearby. They also have autocross events. 1320 Video just covered a "no prep" event there were all sorts of cars. I understand the Hot Rod thing in Alaska is seasonal (as is ice fishing) but it looks pretty hardcore according to some YouTube videos I've seen.

I'm late 50s now and itching to get out of California. It's time to start thinking about these things.

I’m with ya with the get-out-of-california thing. I’ve been a Zillow addict from before Covid. I’ve been to Alaska a few times but I think I’ll end up somewhere in the lower 48. I don’t mind 4-season weather but I don’t think I could take an Alaska winter.

I hope you get some responses to this thread. I’m interested to hear about life in our northern-most state.
