First Start

After much gnashing of teeth on the pink wire from the Sniper she started right up. All parameters looked good. Only leak was a hose that needed to be tightened a touch. Weird thing is thing is when I turn the key the fuel pump comes on for about 5 seconds then shuts off like it's supposed to. Before the first start I reset the roll over switch and now it stays on the whole time. If I unhook it, the pump stops. Any thoughts?

The inertia switch is the ground for the fuel pump. It almost sounds like you have it wired to the power feed to the pump, rather than the ground.

So the inertia switch is just plugged into the harness and the fuel pump is controlled by the Sniper. The heavy blue wire from the Sniper is now hooked directly to the tan wire in the harness that runs to the fuel pump. Any thoughts?
