Now that I'm getting down to some of the fun stuff so I can get the engine started I'm trying to decide where to put fuel regulator for easy access yet still look nice and thought out. Being this is my frist and probably my only build I just what it right the first time. So where are the majority of you mounting your regulators at firewall, passenger side footbox or other just curious as to the best places. What I think may not be the best. So take this survey and chime in let me know your preference. 217061

Mine's in the same spot as all the previous pics, and I know you're going for a very clean engine bay. I suggest you consider putting on the rear of the frame, near the gas tank, and then you'll only need to run one fuel line to the engine bay. Once you set your fuel pressure, you won't likely need to adjust it again, so hiding it under the trunk floor isn't a bad idea.

This is what I did, and very easy to access. As Greg mentions, it allowed me to run a single fuel line to the front of the car.

Unfortunately I've already ran all my fuel lines as per Factoryfive manual but I like the idea I may just do that if can get in the space without removing any panels.
I should have ask this month's ago. O well live and learn

X2 or 3 on mounting it back my the tank. I did a couple builds with the regulator on the firewall. On the truck build, tried mounting it by the tank and had zero issues. I'll be doing the same with the current Mk5 build. It's a little inconvenient to adjust the pressure. But my experience is once set it's done your rarely need to adjust again. At the very least, not something you have to do with any frequency. Running only a single line more than makes up the negative. There was an extensive thread on this topic some months ago. Someone way smarter than me and knew something about fluid dynamics calculated the pressure loss. I don't remember the exact result, but it was in the tenths of a pound. Not enough that should matter. This all kind of started when guys were using the Corvette/GM regulator with earlier Coyotes and mounting them at the back. Like GM did for a long time.
