Below is a picture of the front quick jack holes on the passenger side. I'm enlarging them for the bigger grommets. The top-hole faces forward but the bottom hole on each side faces upwards at an angle. I can't recall what is the correct orientation and wanted to double check before I open them up. Is this correct or did I get a Friday car?

Top one is correct in my experience. You’re thumb nail will separate from your thumb a little while installing the grommets!

The FFR cutouts mean nothing. They might as well have been hacked into the body with a sharp rock! First of all I have a pattern for the grommets. What I do is get the nose in it's proper location without the grommets then stick the bolts through the holes and tighten them to the chassis with nuts on both sides of the QJ plates---the bolts will stick through but won't be supporting the body. I mark the vertical center and horizontal center for each bolt, remove them and then match up the vertical center and horizontal center of my pattern and trace around it. After that I break out the pneumatic die grinder with a 3/4 drum sander on it and make dust! Make sense?

Thanks Jeff. Makes sense. Your rock comment is right on. I don’t recall them being so far off last time as I enlarged them with the body off and they were correct. Just facing in the same direction would be nice. ;)
