Is it common to tip the delivery driver from Stewart’s Transport?
I could see it going either way..
I’m expecting delivery around Aug 15, 2025

I always have slipped them a Benjamin. At the very least send him on his way with a batch of homemade cookies.

I did exactly that...I gave my guy $100 and two dozen fresh-baked homemade chocolate chip cookies. He was way more excited about the cookies. Hah!
I'll bring you some cookies, Jeff. :)

I had read a post gbranham made a while back when I was researching the same topic and 100% copied his approach…..My wife questioned why I was making from scratch cookies. I do a lot of cooking but never deserts/sweets. The driver took them along with the $100 and thanked me. Later that day he called from 3 states away….”dude these are no joke the best cookies I have ever had”. I think it made my day as much as his. Thanks for the idea Greg….that was the first of several I have copied from you.

Hah! The cookies are undefeated! I read that tip on the forum before I went that route, so I'm just perpetuating the best tip. ;)

Just piling on here. Your first question is it typical to tip the Stewart driver? Positively yes. You'll find out when they deliver they work hard to get your kit out of their rig and placed where you want it. Plus make sure you get all the boxes. Tip is earned. I've always done $100 as well.

We gave the fellow $50.00 and a King Cake since we were just starting the Mardi Gras Season.
The pics below were taken on February 1st, 2016 and the driver couldn't have been nicer.

If you don't know what a King Cake is then feel free to order one.
Nonna Randazo's ships them all year even though they are normally just sold from King's Day until Fat Tuesday.

Oh boy, here we go again! Those of you who haven't been around for over 20 years probably don't realize that bragging on a Cobra internet forum about who makes the best cookies is EXACTLY how the Double Venom Spring Fling/London Cobra Show began :D
Jeff
Thank you all for the insight, we will have $100 and cookies waiting for the driver. Can't wait!!
