This is the third time for the radiator to start leaking. The two times it leaked before were on the left side bottom where the core meets the tank. The rad shop fixed the first leak with a white epoxy in the area of the leak and the second time they just epoxied the whole left side. That side is still good, it's the right side this time at the tank. Second time I put a better cushion on the bottom mount (Breeze) just in case it was vibration or shock loading something on the bottom frame. Here is my dilemma. I have Boig pipes. I also have a new spare rad from FFR, but the lower pipe connection is on a different angle form my original rad. It points upward instead of straight out. Called FFR and they don't carry the one I have, just the Angled one. Question is, has anyone used this new style rad with the Boig pipes? What hose configuration did you have to use. Pictures would be great if possible. Or.... just get the old rad fixed again, but don't have much faith in the old one. I do not want to use corrugated piping. Trying not to reinvent the wheel with hose connections.

I just developed a leak too. I purchased my kit in 2019 (SN 9749) and put 5000 miles on it with no issues. Now a small drip from the lower radiator hose where it meets the pipe connection to the radiator started leaking. A small drip drip turned into a large drip which turned into a large puddle on the floor. Sigh. The lower pipe connections is on an angle and points upward. I too have the Biog pipes and I just used the standard hose connections from Boig (now Tubular Automotive and Engineering). I ordered replacement hoses thinking that might help but it still leaks. I tried a t-bolt clamp with hose sealant but still no joy. I hope I don't have to replace the radiator. How hard is it to remove?

TIA

I was speaking to a FFR cobra owner at a local car show and he said he is on his third radiator. It was cover under warranty twice and the third one is not leaking, but it’s been less than a year.
