Roadster Cell Phone Holder/Cooling

Being the leader of my club's cruises, I find during hot day cruises that my phone overheats while using our navigation program, Ride With GPS or Google Maps. I ordered THIS (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C23XMLQH?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1)- But find that this isn't good enough.

What are you using for your cell phone holder? Windshield or trans tunnel mounted? Cooling?

I bought this Amazon special for maybe $30. Works great, it's solid, phone doesn't vibrate, etc. I use it all the time while driving and watching my ProFlo4 EFI real-time data. Easy installation, and easy to remove.

This one works pretty good for leading cruises. The arm is telescoping and you can angle it as needed to avoid glare.

It's perfect for quickly glancing at the map while keeping track of the road. I call it my poor man's heads-up display. I put some clear vinyl down on the dash where I attach it, though it's probably unnecessary. It attaches by suction and a sticky rubber gasket.

Yes - there's several versions of it on Amazon. Also, never had a problem with the phone overheating while in the mount.

I ended up designing and 3D printing mine. I bought the magnetic base on Amazon and then designed the base to clamp around the dash support.
