Hi all.

Complete newb, just started my Mk5 full kit with Coyote.

I have attached the spindles to the front suspension (i hope everything is right so far, this really is a bit more complicated than IKEA, but thats okay) and the grease boot on the passenger side control arm started oozing grease out the side like it has split. Do you think its okay to proceed or should I contact FF for a new boot?

Appreciate whatever wise counsel this group can give. I have attached a few pics too.

Thank you all.

Same thing happened to me. I found this thread and bought the energy suspension boots on Amazon. I have not installed them yet.

Thats brilliant thank you. I may do that now before I go to far on build and have to do it later with more disassembly. I guess its okay to drive (but thats still months away, so not something I have to think about).

I have used those as well. I had to replace mine on the upper ball joints and although these will seem like they don't fit at first, once you get them on and compressed down they work great.
