So part of the install from Formacars is to use springs to hold the upper section of the door panel not a fan so I just put one screw in the rear and a riv nut in the front little easier I also re did the window rubber on the edge of the door what they supply I really did not like, also the have an electric door release on the door rest the switch is really loose so I did not plug it in I will use the manual release
I'm super intrigued by the windows and now have to decide if I want to go this route as well. The cost is about on par with the Rod Tops top I bought for my Cobra a few years ago, so not horrible considering what we spend on these cars.
Can you also describe what you did for the top of the dash? I am looking at ways to create a padded dash for my car as well and like how yours looks. I'm also hopeful that FFR will announce that the carbon fiber dash they did in the full carbon fiber body will be offered separately before I get to that part of the build. along with a version of the new MK5 self-cancelling turn signals.
Thanks,
Dave

I took the dash and center aluminum pieces to a interior shop and had them upholstered in black leather with red stitching they used light padding under the skin

Larry, I see you went with the tweeters on the door panels? Did you use the AudioFrogs or something else? And where are you mounting the other speakers?
Thanks,Ron

Yes I went with the Audi units and they sound amazing I have a couple more speakers in the foot box side panels and two 6x9 installed in the rear aluminum panel that closes off the tailight area

After playing golf with my son on Friday I spent Saturday and today tying up some loose ends mostly everything is done in the interior now time to do some magic on the front clip
Larry,
What seats are those in your Coupe? They look like maybe the R100 seats?
Thanks,
Dave

Dave yes the R100
Dave yes the R100
Thank you, sir! How did you mount them? I don't see any flat floor mounts in their list other than the side mounts, which I don't think are usable with those seats.

Looking great, Larry! Those electric windows are sweet! Always motivating to see a build at this stage. Appreciate the pictures.
