Mount bracket pulled free from the windshield surround. Any suggestions for adhesive to fix this? Looks like I can get my die grinder in there to clean up, so that's good.
Also, good lord that rust. I don't want to cut the frame out, but I'm sure it's like that all the way through.

Wow, that failed between the steel and glue. I painted my steel, but not under the glue. Fortunately, the windshield will tend to hold those pieces together. I'd put a couple of flat head screws through the surround and thread them into the bracket for initial strength. The windshield fits over the screw heads. I've had good luck with Amazon's Amazing GOOP 150011 for gluing tough surfaces. It sets in a few minutes, fully hardens in 24 hours, is clear, sticks to most anything, and retains some flexibility. The steel only goes up several inches into the side pillars, as determined using a magnet, then it's just fiberglass and some aluminum. Here's a photo of that joint new with the windshield on the far side, and my drawing of the top center section of the surround.

Good luck getting that patched up,

The professional adhesive approved by the SAE for bonding auto panels together, including dissimilar materials, is panel bonder. 3M makes it as does Ashland. I prefer Ashland's Pliogrip.
The adhesive is a catalyzed epoxy blend and it is not cheap. It requires a unique application gun that is not cheap. An alternative to buying all that is to have a body shop bond the loose parts. I would use rivets or screws to hold it together while it cures.
Obviously you must clean and neutralize the rust or this will happen again. "Someone" should have done that in the production of these parts.
