I have a Blueprint 361hp 302 with a timing cover set up for a standard rotation water pump. I will be running power steering.
I am trying to configure a serpentine belt and pully system for the front accessories. I was naive enough to think that I could just go to O’Rielly’s and buy a bunch of Fox Mustang parts and bolt them on.
Blueprint and March performance have complete solutions but at a high price
I have found CVF Performance and they have lots of options. Is anyone else using either of these?

If I had a BP engine again I would go with what they recommend for that particular setup. You never want to cheap out on the front end accessories.

I'd contact Mike Forte, he's built lots of Blueprint packages and I'm sure he'll know what works and what you need.

If you are wanting to go serpentine with a single belt and have PS you’re going to need to change to a reverse rotation water pump.

First of all, good choice with the engine. You're going to love it.

I also recommend talking to Mike Forte. He knows what these engines need and can either point you in the right direction or sell it to you directly. He has some proprietary parts and his prices are usually pretty competitive. I have his front pulley system with alternator, tensioner and power steering pump. It fits great, looks good and very high quality. I'm not a fan of the GM type 2 pump on these cars as they need to be restricted to less than 2.0 gpm to avoid overboosting the FFR power steering rack, but the one I got from Forte is great and works well aside from that.

I didn't want to change the timing cover, but this might be a good solution. I wasn't happy with the idea of a duel serpentine belt. The 2nd photo I posted shows a single belt but very little of the belt is on the water pump pulley

I have messaged Mike.

A message might get through, but calling is the best way to communicate with him. Just call his company main number. He might pick up or an assistant, but either way they can help you. He does email but much prefers to talk in person, it seems. The accessory system I got from him for mine is a single belt system and works very well.

The backing plate on most aftermarket water pumps are now configured so that they fit either version of the timing cover; just gotta be sure to use the proper gasket.

So, I won't need to change the timing cover?

You mean the standard alt location will not work in a roadster??? I might be in trouble if so.

I just bought the March basic serp pulley set (#1670) (NON-PS) for my 33HR. I'll only now how that fit at a later time.

This is the March setup that BPE installed on my 347:

It does require a CCW water pump, but a very nice-looking setup regardless.

The Forte setup I have is the same configuration as Papa’s, but blacked out and with a tensioner between the crank and alternator. I think having an actual tensioner instead of using the alternator as the tensioner is a better design as it will automatically adjust as the belt stretches. (Not to be critical of your setup, Papa…it looks pretty darn classy!)

I've got a BluePrint 302 and am running a March setup with a reverse rotation water pump using BluePrint's standard timing cover. As Jeff said, you can run a reverse rotation pump on a standard rotation timing cover as long as you get the appropriate pump. (One with a backing plate and round water passage ports. They're not the same shape at the timing cover ports, but they're compatible as long as the gasket provides a good seal.)

No offense taken. I would prefer a tensioner over the setup on mine.

Ford & Jeep Fan,

Be carful with the narrow front frame of the 33.

Some with tensioner pulleys can get in the way. This is CVF it is sitting on the Chassis

You do NOT need to change the timing cover, never had to do that, except on early V-belt setups when going to single serpent belt.

I purchased this CVF setup and can tell you it will not work without significant modification.

It will require a clockwise rotation water pump and modification or replacement of the PS Pump bracket. Now that I got it all to work well, I like it, but at the time I was cussing it.

No tensioner on mine at all . I just bought a set of 3 pulleys. just the std old school brackets, and a 1G 38 amp alt. looking at your pick i predict It will be good.

Here's a pic of my setup before I installed it into the chassis. (I know you don't want to spend the $$ for the March system, but it's a quality setup.)
