Has anyone done a white engine compartment?

I saw a YouTube video of a Shelby Boss Mustang set up to race and it had a white engine compartment so that any leaks would be immediately apparent and I was just wondering if anyone had done it.

I am doing my coupe in satin frost white. Going for the look you describe above. I actually just received all my engine bay panels from the powder coater last Friday.

I believe the 25th Anniversary Roadsters had white engine bays. Paul aka Edwardb has a great thread on the build and helped me identify the specific color.

In concept, I think this is a great idea. After watching the video, I don't think that white is the best choice. This is completely opinion on my part.

It was actually the twentieth anniversary roadsters that had white engine bay panels. I've done body and paint on 3 of them; one was brand new and undriven and of the other two one had a few hundred miles and the other a couple thousand. I wouldn't want to have to try to maintain the look...even the one with only a few hundred miles was showing a build up of road grime and residue and the car with more miles showed the same, just more of it. These panels were done in a matte/satin finish rather than a more easily wiped down gloss which probably didn't help.
