Looking for some experience here.
It wasn't high on the list but now that I'm driving the Cobra I really should check if the fuel gauge is calibrated correctly. Currently it holds full for a long time then starts to drop like a stone at 1/4 tank, it reads about 1/4 tank when I have 1 - 2 gallons in it. I'm wondering if this is just a reality to the shape of the tank and the sending unit and the calibration is correct or if it needs adjusting. I see by the speed hut site the default on the gauge is 240 ohms empty and 33 ohms full, does anyone know what the setting should be for an OEM cobra kit install?
I could try to set it manually but this is a start.
Thx!

For the FFR/Mustang sender go into the calibration made and toggle it to the 7/8 reading.

yes 7/8 is the correct which is 16ohm empty 158 full. mixed experiences as I've talked to many. I gave up long ago as I get 2/3 of the tank volume F to 1/2. 1/2 to 1/4 happens quick and after that the engine starts to starve when I get on it. I just use the 1/4 mark as "your gonna be out of fuel soon" mark.

The same here, I've reset it several times, always the same. I've just given up on relying on the gauge. I have checked my average mpg several time, knowing that, I fill up EVERY 200 miles.
I think the fuel gauge is even less reliable than the SpeedHut clock

Sorry for the late response. Thanks for the input. Currently I'm doing the combination, watching the mileage and figuring I'm almost out at 1/4 tank. I'll look over the suggestions and go from there.
Thx
